Lowe's and Rebuilding Together Partner to Embrace "Make a Difference Day"
WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, Make a Difference Day, around the country, volunteers from Lowe's are partnering with Rebuilding Together, the nation's leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable housing.

This mass volunteer effort led by Rebuilding Together affiliates and local Lowe's employees will use funds from the Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation and lots of man hours to restore, preserve and revitalize the homes of 35 low- income homeowners in need of a helping hand. Volunteers will be joining together across the country, picking up tools and getting to work.
All Lowe's/ Rebuilding Together projects will happen on or around October 24, Make a Difference Day, a national day of service and helping others. Each project includes energy efficiency repairs and home modifications to lower utility costs and ensure safety in the home.
