Lowe's Announces Executive Promotions
Hayes Announces Plans to Retire
MOORESVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Lowe's Companies, Inc. (NYSE:LOW) announced today two promotions in its
human resources and store planning areas.
Cedric T. Coco was recently promoted to SVP, learning and organizational
development, having served as VP in that role since joining the company
in 2008 from Microsoft. He is responsible for enterprise-wide leadership
development, talent acquisition, talent management and learning
strategies as well as the company's diversity efforts.
Ronnie E. Damron has been promoted to SVP of store planning and
environment. Damron has served since 2006 as VP, new store set-up and
remerchandising. He joined Lowe's in 1979 in the Pikeville, Ky. store
and has served as store manager, district manager and regional vice
president.
Damron replaces long-time merchandising and store planning executive R.
Vaughn Hayes, who announced his retirement, effective March 5, after
nearly 39 years with the company.
