(NYSE: LOW), a FORTUNE® 50 home improvement company headquartered in Mooresville, NC, U.S., announced today the appointment of James Brandt as the managing director for its India operations. Brandt brings over 25 years of experience in management, technology and innovation across multiple industries. He will report to Lowe’s Chief Information Officer, Paul Ramsay.
In his newly appointed role, Brandt will lead the overall strategy and operations for the region, including the oversight of the IT and analytics teams in Bengaluru.

Most recently, Brandt served as Lowe’s Companies’ vice president – IT engineering, where he worked closely with teams to integrate different facets of technology such as network, platforms, database and data center functions. Brandt also worked to find, fund and mentor the most innovative and disruptive start-up companies and technologies in retail and home improvement.
