Lowe's, with over 26,000 Veterans and Military spouses in its employ and a commitment to sourcing $293 million in products from Veteran-owned businesses, proudly stands as a steadfast ally to the veteran community. As part of this year's Veterans Day tribute, Lowe's will distribute commemorative pins to the initial 150 Veteran customers in-store, honoring their service.

The spirit of Veterans Day shines through various initiatives at Lowe's, exemplified by a newfound partnership with The Gary Sinise Foundation. This foundation, dedicated to aiding wounded heroes, veterans, first responders, and their families, will receive $150,000 from Lowe's. This contribution targets ADA-compliant modifications for two homes, in support of wounded Vietnam and Korean War Veterans through the Lowe's Livable Homes initiative. These crucial enhancements empower these heroes, ensuring they can comfortably reside in their homes.

Furthering their commitment, Lowe's collaborates with Rebuilding Together to improve 20 communities nationwide under the Veterans at Home initiative. This collaboration breathes life into houses, making vital improvements for veterans and their families, all at no cost. With an investment of over $3 million through Rebuilding Together, Lowe's ensures that communities provide safe and accessible homes, fostering aging-in-place and independent living, especially for those who served in the military.

As part of the Lowe's Hometown community impact project, associates have revitalized numerous USO organizations and other veteran-supporting services, showcasing Lowe's dedication to enhancing the spaces that serve those who have served our nation.
