Lowe’s “How It’s Made” series takes you to the Hoosier state of Indiana, home of POLYWOOD.

POLYWOOD is the first company to create outdoor furniture from recycled plastic materials. Located in Syracuse, Indiana, POLYWOOD manufactures the allen + roth Adirondack Chair that adorns the outdoor spaces of many Lowe’s customers.

POLYWOOD recycles millions of pounds of landfill-bound and ocean-bound plastic containers every year. Go behind the scenes to see how truckloads of recycled plastic materials are transformed into genuine POLYWOOD lumber which is then used to construct a wide array of outdoor furniture.

Flowers, mulch, toilets and mattresses are just some of the products highlighted in Lowe’s "How’s It’s Made" series; a unique way to see how products purchased at Lowe's are produced.
