Summer weather is here and like most, you’ve probably been cooped up in your home for longer than normal this year. If you’re itching to get out and about and tackle some projects, not to fear, Lowe’s is open and ready for you. And waiting will be your Lowe’s associates, ready to provide expert advice and product recommendations.

Before you fight the crowds on those busy warm-weather Saturdays, Lowe’s is offering up inside information straight from the helpful red vest. Several red vest associates shared some of their favorite products to recommend and even buy themselves.

“A customer came in and said he tried to start his lawnmower, but it chugged and bucked and it just wasn’t running right. I told him he probably needed to treat the gas in his tank with Enzyme Engine Treatment. It cleans it up, de-gums it and makes the engine run smooth again. He tried it and of course, that’s exactly what happened.  I recommend it to all my customers at the start of spring for mowers and weed whackers and it even works on snow throwers. I highly recommend it and use it myself.” - Lenny Bender Lowe’s 2538 in Camillus New York.

“This is one of the best feeds you can use, Super Thrive. I used it often in my previous life as a landscaper on trees, flowers, shrubs, any plant whatsoever. I recommend this and Garrett Juice, but this is what I use at home, it’s even good on indoor plants. Just add this in when you do your watering.“ - Andy Jensen Outdoor Garden Department Lowe’s 2280 in Dallas Texas.

“The Craftsman 60-volt battery-powered blower is amazing.  It’s very powerful, so if you have acorns, pecans, this blower is going to blow those out of your lawn. I own it and I love it. Plus, Craftsman has its guarantee, you can’t beat that.” - Connie Loza Store 2280 in Dallas Texas.

“The orchid is very pretty. I love it for the simple fact that you can decorate your home, your office, give it as a housewarming gift. I recommend it to customers who aren’t great at keep plants alive. With an orchid you just water it once a week, make sure you spray the petals. I also tell my customers to talk to your plants, they hear us. As long as you love on them, they’ll bloom and be beautiful for you.” - Carlene “Blu” Grant Store 2538 in Camillus New York.
