The Lowe’s Home Team is back for a third season and the all-star lineup of players is ready to tackle projects that will make an impact in their team’s local communities across the nation this season.
Returning Lowe’s Home Team General Manager Drew Brees, will lead the team of current and former NFL players including Justin Herbert, Kelvin Beachum, Chris Godwin, Matt Light, Christian McCaffrey and Micah Parsons.
Each Lowe’s Home Team player will be partnering with Lowe’s to complete a community impact project in their team's city throughout the season as part of the Lowe’s Hometowns program, a five-year $100 million commitment to make homes – and hometowns – better for those in need.
Each year from 2022 through 2026, Lowe’s Hometowns will complete nearly 1,800 community impact projects to help rebuild, repair, beautify, inspire, and make a positive impact on millions of Americans across the communities Lowe’s serves. This commitment is part of Lowe’s goal to make homes better for all and builds on the success of its work with the 100 Hometowns program in 2021, which revitalized 100 community spaces and positively impacted more than 1.3 million people in honor of the company’s centennial. Last year, the Lowe’s Home Team supported community impact projects across the nation by revitalizing a local business, making critical repairs to a homeless shelter and providing housing options for a city in need.
Lowe’s is also proud to play a supportive part in the NFL Draft this year by donating tools and safety equipment to help Pros build the stage for the big day, including 300 hard hats and safety vests, 100 Kobalt generator construction leather tool aprons, 50 five-gallon buckets and three pallets of FLEX power tools and saws. In addition to supporting the event, red vest associate, Jennifer Phillips will announce a Draft pick on Day Three.
