2020 was a year unlike any other. It was unprecedented in so many ways, with a global pandemic changing all of our lives as we knew them.
Through all the hard times, people rose to the challenge. Lowe’s and its associates pride themselves on being there when people need them most, and that was on full display over the course of this trying year.
Before we officially turn the page to 2021, here is a look back at some of our favorite feel good stories from 2020.

A little boy with autism in Missouri brought smiles to our faces with his love of Lowe’s. His routine had been disrupted by COVID-19 restrictions, and his family surprised him with a birthday photoshoot at his local store.

An associate in Illinois showed us what it truly means to help someone in need. When his brother passed, organ donation was discussed, and he thought of his Lowe’s teammate who was waiting for a life-saving liver transplant.

A store manager in Indiana provided an example of real leadership, taking it upon himself to help his community stay safe during the pandemic.

An associate in Utah showed us what amazing customer service really looks like. His attention to detail and kind spirit resulted in a flood of compliments from the people he helped.
