Throughout May, Lowe's celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The Asia Pacific Business Resource Group, or APAC, plays a pivotal role in these celebrations. Business Resource Groups hold a special place at Lowe's, fostering understanding, visibility, and community for different subsets of culture, heritage, and identity within our organization. APAC is no different and honors and celebrates the cultural richness of the Asian and Pacific Islands and its diverse people. Here’s what some of the members have to say about this imperative organization within Lowe’s.

For me, Asian American and Pacific Islander Month is another chance for myself and others to become more educated about the Asian American and Pacific Islander population. I have always wanted a deeper connection to my heritage, and the Asia Pacific BRG has given me the opportunity to immerse myself in my biological culture and learn about my colleagues' cultures and traditions in ways that I otherwise would not have been able to.

This month, Lowe’s will continue to recognize the invaluable contributions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.
