Halloween at Lowe's: Candy, costumes and curbside service

Oct 23, 2020

Though it may not look like the traditional trick-or-treat experience, Lowe’s is offering families a Halloween drive-through alternative at all stores across the U.S.

The first of two curbside trick-or-treat events took place Thursday night, with the second happening from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 29. Families can reserve their place in line at their local store ahead of time by visiting Lowes.com/DIY

Regardless of the circumstances, kiddos donned their costumes as families drove through a festive display that included free handouts of pumpkins and candy (and maybe a scare or two). Many of the Lowe’s associates helping with the event got in on the action, too – sporting werewolf, tin man and even Sandy from Grease outfits. Check out the photo gallery below to see some of the evening’s excitement:

"We know that customers still want to celebrate Halloween, even if the holiday may look different for us this year. While the pandemic has changed many elements of everyday life, the tradition of trick-or-treating doesn't have to be one of them," said Joe McFarland, Lowe's executive vice president of stores. "Our associates take great pride in serving our communities, and as we all find new ways to safely celebrate the holiday, we look forward to welcoming families to our drive-through curbside trick-or-treating events this year."
