Lowe's surprises over 85 families with products they need to help rebuild

Although months have passed, things aren’t back to normal for many of those in Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey and families are still in need of support. As part of NBC’s TODAY Show Lend a Hand Week, Lowe’s was happy to get involved as part of our ongoing effort to support those communities in need after the devastating storm.

That’s why Lowe’s hosted a surprise pop-up store on Nov. 14 to support more than 85 families in Spring, Texas, who experienced severe damage to their homes. The store provided a wide range of products needed to help the families rebuild – from paint and tools to appliances and home décor.

A Lowe’s team was also on-site demonstrating DIY skills to the families to help them feel more confident and capable of tackling home improvement projects. Lowe’s was there to help them complete hands-on tasks while providing helpful tips.
