From rebuilding homes to stocking food pantries, Lowe’s associates supported their communities in heartfelt, hands-on ways throughout the year. Between January and early December, more than 11,800 volunteers logged over 98,000 hours of service, touching lives and strengthening neighborhoods across 648 causes nationwide.

Behind every hour volunteered is a choice to show up for neighbors, for communities, and for one another. These are the moments that defined 2025.
A Bold Promise: 10 Million Square Feet of Community Impact
This year, Lowe’s launched a pledge to deliver 10 million square feet of community impact annually through projects that rebuild, reimagine and restore.
Whether renovating a school gym, constructing a playground or revitalizing a food pantry, each square foot reflects a commitment to improving the places people call home and creating spaces for lasting connection.
When Texas Needed Support
After devastating floods swept through the Texas Hill Country, Lowe’s teams were among the first to respond. They delivered not just supplies but also compassion, comfort and a sense of hope.

The company committed $500,000 to flood recovery efforts, partnering with local nonprofits and first responders to distribute more than 500 “Bucket Brigade” kits. Associates worked shoulder to shoulder with community members in San Angelo and Kerrville to support families beginning the long road to recovery.

That commitment continued in the Bumble Bee neighborhood, where floodwaters destroyed dozens of homes. There, Lowe’s joined Somebody Cares America and neighbors in a home-by-home rebuild effort, replacing drywall, installing floors and helping bring homes back to life. For many residents, it was about more than restoring property. It was about restoring hope.
Beds Built with Love
In May, the hum of drills and the scent of fresh-cut wood filled the Charlotte Convention Center as Lowe’s and Sleep in Heavenly Peace hosted a record-breaking 24-hour volunteer build.

Nearly 5,500 volunteers came together to construct 5,000 bunk beds for children without a place to sleep — marking the largest effort of its kind in the nonprofit’s history. The event spanned 49 communities in 16 states, using 96 miles of lumber to deliver not just beds, but dignity, comfort and peace of mind.
100 Tiny Homes, Just in Time
After Hurricane Helene left many families without shelter, Lowe’s fulfilled a promise to build 100 tiny homes for those in need of temporary housing. These compact, thoughtfully designed dwellings offered safety, stability and dignity in a time of uncertainty.

In partnership with builders like True Homes, NASCAR haulers and community volunteers, Lowe’s delivered homes equipped with essential amenities and ready for on-site utility connections. These homes stood as symbols of what becomes possible when communities come together.
Red Vest Season of Service
Tens of thousands of Red Vest associates mobilized across the country for a powerful season of giving. From small towns to large cities, they made an impact through:

-
1,300 Lowe’s Heroes Projects: hands-on initiatives like home repairs, cleanups and food distribution
-
100 Signature Lowe’s Hometowns Projects: large-scale community improvements nominated by local partners to uplift shared spaces
Behind every project is a purpose. Behind every purpose is a Lowe’s associate committed to service with heart, humility and pride.
A Legacy of Service
Every hour volunteered in 2025 tells a story of someone who chose to act, to show up, to lend a hand and to make a difference.
This work defines the company’s values in action.
Looking ahead to 2026, that spirit carries forward, grounded in the belief that people are the greatest strength and the greatest impact happens when everyone works together.
