This spring, Lowe’s is teaming up with Sleep in Heavenly Peace and neighbors across Charlotte for a round-the-clock build, all with one goal in mind: making sure every family has a safe place to sleep.
On April 15 and 16, the Charlotte Convention Center will be buzzing with more than thousands of volunteers Lowe’s associates, local businesses, nonprofit partners, and neighbors rolling up their sleeves to build 10,000 beds for children who need them the most.
When the last bed is built, they’ll be headed out to 110 communities in 36 states, including right here in Greater Charlotte, bringing comfort and hope to families near and far.
Every delivery is the whole package; a sturdy bed frame, a soft mattress, a pillow, and fresh bedding. To make sure every child gets the full experience, Lowe’s is also running a bedding drive from April 2nd to April 24th.
Customers can contribute by donating toward essential items:
* $5 supports a pillow
* $10 supports a sheet set
* $25 supports a comforter
Donations can be made online and at select Charlotte-area stores during the drive.
