The first day of spring is always an occasion to celebrate, and this year, Lowe's took to social media to encourage everyone to help grow a digital garden.
For every person who posted a tulip emoji alongside #SeedingSpring on social media on March 20, Lowe's will share a real-life seed ahead of Earth Day by surprising customers with unexpected seed giveaways at select in-store locations and by planting new plants and flowers in Lowe's Charlotte hometown community initiative.
Twitter gardeners stepped up in a big way to help with the digital planting, as you can see in the tweets below!

One of our favorite things about spring is getting our hands in the dirt and planting new beginnings! We're partnering up with @Lowes to plant a digital garden on Twitter! Use #SeedingSpring and this emoji?to join in on the fun. #Ad #LowesPartner https://t.co/SoRRXVkPLj

Yesterday by #SeedingSpring you helped kick off the season in a big way with a digital garden. Now it’s our turn to grow one IRL. Stay tuned to see it bloom on Earth Day! pic.twitter.com/v3OQzTNZWi
