As executive vice president, strategy and business development, Adam Filipponi leads Lowe’s efforts to identify, prioritize and scale strategic growth opportunities, while driving disciplined resource allocation and execution against the company’s highest-value enterprise initiatives. He joined Lowe’s in 2012.

Adam has 19 years of experience in finance, with more than 12 of those in the retail industry. In a prior role as senior vice president, finance and strategy, he was responsible for enterprise strategy, corporate financial planning, and financial partnerships across multiple organizations to drive performance against business goals. He previously held roles of increasing responsibility in merchandising finance, stores finance, corporate strategy, and global financial planning and analysis. Before joining Lowe’s, he held finance and accounting positions at Lowes Foods and Comstock Advisors.

Adam earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Wake Forest University. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of North Carolina.
