
As senior vice president, finance and strategy, Adam Filipponi is responsible for corporate financial planning and analysis, as well as enterprise strategy and finance partnership with stores, merchandising, supply chain, technology, omnichannel, and marketing. He joined Lowe’s in 2012.
Adam has 17 years of experience in finance, with more than 10 of those in the retail industry. In a prior role as vice president, merchandising finance, he oversaw finance for Lowe’s merchandising organization, providing financial leadership on strategic and operational issues, partnered with the business to develop strategic direction and drove performance against business goals. He has also held roles of increasing responsibility in stores finance, corporate strategy and global financial planning and analysis. Before joining Lowe’s, he held finance and accounting positions at Lowes Foods and Comstock Advisors.
Adam earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Wake Forest University. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of North Carolina.
