As senior vice president, technology, and managing director of India, Ankur Mittal is responsible for driving the overall strategy and operations for Lowe’s India, including oversight of the technology, analytics and shared services teams in Bangalore. He leads the enterprise architecture team, which is responsible for driving technical architecture strategy across a portfolio of applications and capabilities. Additionally, Ankur leads the omnichannel platforms team and the information technology operations and infrastructure teams, which help define customer experiences and support enterprise-wide frictionless infrastructure. Ankur joined Lowe’s in 2019.

Ankur has more than 20 years of technology experience. Prior to joining Lowe’s, he was vice president, technology for Target Corp., serving as site leader for the technology team in India and leading engineering teams on key customer services, including dot-com fulfillment, inventory management, guest returns and checkout experiences. Ankur also held a variety of technology leadership roles for Infosys and Wipro. 

Ankur earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University Engineering College in Kota, India, and a master’s degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management in Kozhikode, India.
