
As chief technology officer and managing director of Lowe’s India, Ankur Mittal is responsible for driving the overall strategy and operations for Lowe’s India. His chief technology officer responsibilities include omnichannel platforms, enterprise architecture strategy across a portfolio of applications and capabilities, corporate services technology, IT Ops, and infrastructure engineering. Ankur is also responsible for delivering technology solutions that enhance customer and associate experiences. In his role as managing director of Lowe’s India, he provides leadership oversight for the India-based artificial intelligence and data analytics, business, human resources, and corporate services teams. He joined Lowe’s in 2019.
Ankur has more than 20 years of technology experience. Prior to joining Lowe’s, he was vice president, technology for Target Corp., serving as site leader for the technology team in India and leading engineering teams on key customer services, including dot-com fulfillment, inventory management, guest returns and checkout experiences. Ankur also held a variety of technology leadership roles for Infosys and Wipro.
Ankur earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University Engineering College in Kota, India, and a master’s degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management in Kozhikode, India.
