As senior vice president, commercial and innovation law, Erica Irvin is responsible for the legal business partners to the merchandising, Pro & home services, supply chain, real estate and technology organizations. She is also responsible for data privacy, intellectual property and the India legal shared services center. She joined Lowe’s in 2024.

Erica has 25 years of legal experience Before joining Lowe’s, she was group vice president and chief counsel, digital technology and innovation, at The Albertsons Companies, where she supported the company’s digital transformation. Prior to Albertsons, she was vice president, senior associate general counsel for Adtalem Global Education and vice president, senior associate general counsel, commercial law for BrightView Landscaping Services. She has also served as in-house counsel at Lucent, Siebel Systems, E. Spire and MCI. 

Erica earned a Juris Doctor from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from the University of California at Berkeley. She is a board advisor for the public relations firm SalientMG and also serves on the board for Creative Spirit, a nonprofit focused on employment for the neurodiverse.
