Matt Monroe

As senior vice president, store merchandising, Matt oversees merchandising operations, store environment and merchandising field execution, with responsibility for bringing merchandising strategies to life in our stores through consistent execution – from product line reviews to localized assortments and the overall in-store merchandising experience. He joined Lowe’s in 1995.

Matt has more than 30 years of store management and operations experience in the home improvement industry. He first joined Lowe's as a seasonal associate and worked in a variety of roles across the store before becoming a store manager and, later, district manager. He has held some of the company’s top store leadership roles, serving both as regional vice president for Lowe's mid-Atlantic region and as president of the South division.
