Our Partners:
Building Homes for Heroes constructs, modifies and gifts homes, mortgage-free, for our nation’s injured veterans, first responders and their families. The organization is dedicated to building better and brighter lives for our nations’ heroes by not only addressing housing needs, but also addressing the physical and mental health needs of the families they serve.
Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat partners with Lowe’s across the country to bring this vision to life through critical home repair and national advocacy to promote safe and affordable housing. Lowe’s support over the past two decades has helped more than 18,000 families across more than 600 communities build or improve a place they call home.
Founded by two veterans who suffered life-changing injuries during combat, Purple Heart Homes provides housing solutions for service-connected disabled veterans and their families. The organization helps veterans live in safe, healthy and barrier-free homes by providing critical home repairs, modifications and renovations.
Through its national affiliate network, Rebuilding Together works proactively and collaboratively with community leaders, long-term residents, funders and volunteers to create and execute plans to address the critical housing needs in communities across the country. With a shared belief that repairing homes can help to revitalize communities, Lowe’s has partnered with Rebuilding Together since 2007 to complete critical home repairs for veterans, seniors, people with disabilities, families with children, as well as neighbors impacted by disaster.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace’s mission is to see that “No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town!” Local chapters nationwide organize community outreach events where volunteers build beds – including many hosted at Lowe’s stores. The organization then mobilizes volunteers to deliver and install the beds to children in need living in their communities. Since 2019 Lowe’s sponsored approximately 600 builds at store locations.
