  • On Sunday, over 100 associates plan to deploy to Charleston, South Carolina, a community that was greatly impacted by Hurricane Dorian. • Four stores near Raleigh, North Carolina had the opportunity to help their community by providing supplies for a makeshift Hurricane Dorian shelter for evacuees. The stores worked with the local American Red Cross and fire station to provide fire extinguishers, fans, trash bags, hand sanitizer, soap and trash cans. Lowe’s blue buckets with disaster relief supplies were also assembled. The buckets will help more than 1,000 families that could be residents at the shelter. Store Manager Howie Milligan felt this was the best way to be there for the victims. He said, “Even though we are not on the coastline, we are proud to assist in any capacity in keeping families safe and as comfortable as can be in their time of need.”
