Aid the Silent will make major improvements to better serve deaf and hard-of-hearing children. New sidewalks will ensure students with additional disabilities can access the building. In the wake of plumbing issues, a new patio and playground are needed for teens working with mentors and parents in between their children’s audiology appointments. A stage will allow for family movie nights and community events that currently host over 100 families with hearing loss every single month.

Great Lakes Community Conservation Corps runs the Cooperative Companion Gardening Initiative, created to increase fresh produce available to older military veterans with functional and access challenges. This project would provide free at-home raised bed gardens and consultation, installation and regular maintenance and harvesting assistance from veteran volunteers and local youth.

Aberdeen Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry

The Aberdeen Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry has a project with multiple critical repairs and improvements, including a parking lot revamp to improve accessibility, fresh paint on the exterior of the building, replacement gutter system, new pallet fence, addition of cyclone fence around secured back area, replaced glass entry door, renovated Client Intake Area and Office Area, the addition of metal sheets to the back warehouse area and additional lighting.

A Pocket Full of Hope Community Center gives youth the opportunity to empower themselves in a non-threatening, participatory and inclusive atmosphere using music, theatre, dance videography and photography. The center has several building improvement needs, including flooring for multiple rooms (i.e., restrooms, kitchen, administrative offices and historical reflection and conference rooms), and a need for baseboards, sinks and vanities.

Anthesis focuses on job readiness, work training and skills development. They would like to add a mural to commemorate the participants, volunteers and donors who help keep the organization functioning and changing lives. The project would also include new ceiling tiles, shelving for donations, resurfacing its parking lot, updating lighting and repainting the exterior building.

The Arizona Knowledge Empowerment Institute has a mission to support, educate, inform and advocate for both families and individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities in having a desired quality of life. Their project entails several infrastructure needs including a storage space for tools, an area to harvest water, drip lines to water plants, raised beds and accessible beds. Grant funds would also help hire support to build a shade structure already purchased.

Since 1957, ARCA has provided opportunities for individuals with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities to enjoy great lives. ARCA's project would provide accessible bathrooms, improved and shaded outdoor areas as well as needed kitchen upgrades. ARCA is the only provider in New Mexico offering community based, post acute services for adults with an acquired brain injury.

The Austin Street Center provides safe shelter and meets the basic needs of the most vulnerable homeless. This project would include addressing the critical needs of an aging facility, including new flooring, insulation and roofing for its Administration Building and painting for the Sisterhood Program's Facility.
