Third Creek Elementary School is a Title I public school serving 550 children in grades K-5. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the school will replace its old playground equipment, install a new ADA compliant playground to serve children with physical disabilities, and refurbish the school’s amphitheater/outdoor classroom. These renovations will assist teachers in meeting the physical, social, and emotional needs of their student while rejuvenating community involvement and volunteerism for the school.

St. Francis de Sales High School is a community-centered high school on Chicago’s Southeast Side committed to empowering students to achieve academic excellence while addressing the barriers of poverty through access to food, healthcare, financial support, and education. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the school will renovate and enhance its community space including its community closet, student-run food pantry, and upgrading key areas to create a more functional, welcoming environment.

Ritenour School District is committed to empowering every student to achieve their full potential through equitable, high-quality learning experiences, grounded in its dedication to equity, inclusion, and access for all. With support from Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the district will complete site additions and beautification, including creating a community garden and outdoor gathering space for our students new to the country, early childhood learners, and gifted students.

Bowie High School is dedicated to fostering a supportive educational environment for students facing significant emotional and behavioral challenges. Through Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the High School will revitalize its support space by replacing aged carpet and installing comfortable modular seating, a therapeutic group table, organizational shelving, and a calming aquarium. These enhancements will provide a therapeutic sanctuary that empowers students to manage difficult emotions, ultimately reducing classroom avoidance and promoting a safer, more inclusive school community.

In collaboration with staff, community, parents, and students the Marlington Local School District develops lifelong learners who understand and apply knowledge and demonstrate excellence in pursuing the highest standards with effective intervention to challenge every student. The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will allow the district to construct an outdoor storage building at Washington Elementary.

Lane College is a private historically Black college located in Jackson, Tennessee. Lane College is committed to building an infrastructure that serves students and community members for generations. Through this partnership, Lowe’s will play a direct role in transforming a roadway into a safe, durable, and meaningful public space that reflects shared values of community, access, and long-term impact.

The John Crosland School is a K-12 school in Charlotte, NC that empowers neurodiverse students with learning differences to discover their strengths, build confidence, and succeed in school and in life. Funding from Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will support the installation of secure perimeter gates, accessible pathways, and strategic landscaping to enhance safety and navigation across our expanding campus.

Hollister Charter School’s mission is to promote a love for learning while preparing students to be academically successful, engaged in their communities, and connected to the land. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will construct a school-based greenhouse for year-round growing and learning. This project will provide students and the broader rural community with increased access to fresh produce, hands-on agricultural education, and a sustainable space that strengthens food security and fosters long-term community resilience.

Hillsborough Township Public Schools is a K-12 district in Somerset County New Jersey that operates nine schools for approximately 7,400 students annually. The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will help renovate a high school classroom that will allow the school district to expand its course offerings to include a new Home Maintenance course. The work will inspire future homeowners and expose our students to a variety of hands-on careers.

EmpowerEd is a nonprofit creative learning community that provides an exceptional educational environment where all are encouraged to be responsible, resilient, compassionate, and connected. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the organization will build new safe and interactive playground structures in the courtyard area.
