A rural community wishes to build an inclusive and fully accessible playground for children with disabilities. A playground where children with physical, visual, and sensory needs can play alongside their peers, no matter their ability level or age. it will be the only playground of its type in the community, filling a void and providing families a fun place to bring their children to play with siblings and friends.

A Habitat for Humanity chapter is hosting an event on September 11 as a day of service and remembrance to honor 9/11’s first responders, veterans, their families and those who went into service because of what happened on that day 20 years ago. The chapter wishes to repair and modify the homes of veterans, first responders and their families, with the goal of helping keep them in place in their homes, preventing displacement and potential homelessness among those who have served our country.
