Shower the People exists to address the lack of shower, hygiene and laundry services for people who who are unhoused, and this project entails securing a permanent location for the organization. The Shower the People office gives people the chance to shower, wash clothes and pick up necessities before moving into a more permanent living space. This program provides low-income families with clean laundry weekly. A permanent space to continue these services is central to Shower the People’s mission to be successful.

A town hit with a devastating and deadly tornado that leveled neighborhoods seeks to build a memorial playground at the site of touchdown in place of the homes destroyed. The children’s playground will honor the five children and 14 adults whose lives were lost and restore hope to a community that has been forever affected.

Country music star and former Lowe’s associate Kane Brown gives back to his hometown of Chattanooga through a rehab and revitalization project with the Boys & Girls Club. The project will provide a much-needed new library, computer lab and large teen lounge for the club whose mission is to enable young people to realize their full potential and become productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

(ADS) is to help persons with Alzheimer’s disease or related disorders live their lives with dignity and respect while providing relief to their caregivers and support for their families. This beautification project will allow the organization to increase capacity to serve move individuals while contributing to neighborhood revitalization efforts in the Hickory Hill neighborhood.

The city of Brownsville seeks to renovate a historic bank building and transform it into a new City Hall that will become a community hub that is vibrant, open, and create a sense of pride in the community. The new City Hall, located in the city’s downtown, would serve as a hub for several uses, from housing shared community resources to creating more space for public meetings and gatherings, and ultimately further the development of the city.

A local school wishes to make transformational changes to its space that would allow it to also function as a community fitness center in an effort to instill healthy habits and help combat childhood obesity. The center would feature an outdoor family fitness course and provide after-school and weekend fitness and nutrition courses for students, their families and the community-at-large. A 360-approach includes program integration into the school curriculum as well as health outcomes tracking.
