The Lowe's Hometowns project will enhance residents' experience by constructing three ADA ramps, installing new floors, lights and new windows. Outside, brickwork on the patio will be leveled and planters added that help will create community connections and therapeutic gardening opportunities.

Through Lowe's Hometowns, the facility's kitchen, kitchen annex and dining area will be renovated so that individuals no longer have to share a small, limited kitchen space.
Troy Area United Ministries’ (TAUM) mission is to be an inclusive, safe space for marginalized people who suffer from serious illness, including HIV/AIDS, are food insecure, experience domestic violence or face other significant issues. Through Lowe's Hometowns, their facility will be renovated to be ADA accessibile, ensuring all people can get help. The kitchen renovation will include ADA ramps, new windows and doors, new sinks and dishwashers. These upgrades will help TAUM safely continue their daily lunch and more.
Volunteers of America-Greater New York's Rose House is an important part of the community, providing permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals. Lacking in warmth and comfort, through Lowe's Hometowns, Rose House will be upgraded with furniture, new appliances, updated electrical work and outside improvements to create a more dignified, homely environment.
