UrbanPromise Trenton, through the East Trenton Collaborative, is dedicated to strengthening the neighborhood it serves by providing essential resources, youth development programs, and a safe, stable hub for families navigating economic challenges. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will renovate the East Trenton Center, including building repairs, updating kitchen and bathroom facilities, and revitalization of our meeting and classroom spaces.

The Jersey City Fire Foundation supports the Jersey City Fire Department in enhancing firefighter safety, wellness, and operational readiness while strengthening emergency response services for the community. With funding from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the Foundation will renovate and modernize its firehouse kitchen. These improvements will provide firefighters with a safe and functional living space, ultimately enhancing emergency response capabilities for a low-income neighborhood that relies heavily on timely and effective fire and EMS services.

Hillsborough Township Public Schools is a K-12 district in Somerset County New Jersey that operates nine schools for approximately 7,400 students annually. The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will help renovate a high school classroom that will allow the school district to expand its course offerings to include a new Home Maintenance course. The work will inspire future homeowners and expose our students to a variety of hands-on careers.

In 2023, The Food Brigade Inc. fed 77,908 North Jersey residents from its three existing pantry locations in Bergen and Hudson Counties. With the Lowe's Hometowns grant, the facility will be upgraded with flooring, wall repairs, paint, lighting, signage, ADA ramps and furniture, enabling The Food Brigade to help even more of their neighbors in need.

For over 70-years, ArcMorris has provided support to individuals in Morris County with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Renovations through Lowe's Hometowns will be made to the supervised apartment facility including a full kitchen and bathroom remodel, laundry room flooring replacement, exterior improvements and new flooring throughout the facility. The upgrades will make services like recreational programs and summer camps possible for the community.

The Borough of Fort Lee would like to create a new space for a community garden. The Borough currently has two community gardens, all of which have reached maximum capacity. This new garden will provide garden space to those residents who are seeking to use a community garden but have not been able to do so yet. Most residents do not have access to personal outdoor space or backyards, so this project will provide new access for residents to plant their own plants and vegetables.

The Cancer Support Community New Jersey at Gilda's Club proposes a community improvement project to address necessary building maintenance - from cleanliness to repairs - for the clubhouse where support groups meet for people impacted by cancer. This will allow the organization to create a thrift store which will provide a steady source of income. The nonprofit provides all programs and support groups and free of charge.

Stand Up for Salem’s mission is to stimulate local business opportunities, champion historic preservation and cultivate positive community growth to improve the lives of those who live and work in Salem City, New Jersey. SUFS would like to reabilitate a vacant building owned by the City of Salem to provide a community space for residents' programs and extend the Salem Free Public Library's programs and events. Currently the western part of the city lacks any community space for children, teens and adults.
