The USO’s mission is to strengthen the well-being of people serving in America’s military and their families. With support from Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, this remodel will enhance the organization’s ability to serve thousands of active-duty service members, as well as the many military family activities it hosts annually to foster connection and support. By broadening its reach, the USO at Fort Campbell will build a stronger sense of community, boost morale, and provide a welcoming space for all those connected to military service.

Friends of Anderson Dean Community Park is dedicated to enhancing, preserving, and promoting Anderson Dean Community Park as a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable space for recreation, community gatherings, and outdoor enjoyment through volunteer efforts, advocacy, and partnerships. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the building structure at the soccer complex will receive a new roof, gutters, windows, HVAC, bathroom remodels, lighting, drywall, fresh paint, refrigerators, landscaping, outdoor mural, and picnic table.

For the past 129 years, Volunteers of America Mid-States’s (VOA) mission has remained the same: to provide positive changes in the lives of individuals and communities through a ministry of service. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, VOA will make critical renovations to Liberty Place, the organization's residential treatment facility for men who are recovering from substance use disorder.

This project will empower veterans to heal, grow, and reintegrate into society.

International Center of Kentucky

The project will create a safe, comfortable and inclusive environment and provide a sense of community for immigrant and refugee individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma.

Stanley Fire Department is an all volunteer fire department in rural western Daviess County, KY. Through Lowe's Hometowns, new bathroom fixtures, flooring, paint, appliances and furniture will be added to the much-used space. These improvements will create a more comfortable and accessible facility for volunteers and the broader community to use for events and training.

A nonprofit veterans center that has been heavily damaged by flooding seeks assistance in completing restorations to the center so it can continue to provide vital outreach, PTSD awareness training and coping programs, and assistance with navigating VA programs - all aimed to help veterans reintegrate into the community and thrive. The building also serves as an important meeting spot for area veterans.
