The Hiding Place exists to create safe, trauma-informed spaces for survivors of domestic violence and their children through support, resources, and community connection. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the center will install a new HVAC system, upgrade electrical and lighting, replace flooring, renovate two bathrooms to include showers, and develop outdoor healing spaces with gardens and greenhouse structures. These improvements will create a safe, restorative environment where over 400 survivors and children each year can access services, experience stability, and begin rebuilding their lives.
