2026 Projects

This year marks the fifth year of Lowe’s Community Impact Program, a five-year, $100 million commitment to renovating and revitalizing community spaces. The 2026 selected projects represent 90 communities in 38 states and help to revitalize parks, community centers, food pantries, first responder facilities, and spaces serving veterans.

5th Squad
Pearl, Mississippi

5th Squad is a Veteran-led nonprofit dedicated to “Veterans Helping Veterans” by providing immediate assistance, peer support, and community-based programs that ensure no Veteran stands alone. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will renovate a larger facility by constructing dedicated spaces for Back to the Barracks (peer support), Veteran Disability Claims Assistance (private offices), and Hearts Behind the Barracks (family support). These improvements will expand its capacity to serve more Veterans and their families, increase access to critical services, and create a permanent, welcoming hub for connection, support, and long-term impact within the community.

Alianza
Holyoke, Massachusetts

Alianza has been providing emergency, confidential shelter to domestic violence victims since 1980. With the Lowe’s Community Impact grant, the agency will renovate the shelter’s communal kitchen with new flooring, storage cabinets, appliances, lighting, paint, and kitchen furniture. These renovations will create a warm and inviting space for residents to gather, socialize, and prepare meals, and will preserve the shelter's useful life.

Amberly's Place
Yuma, Arizona

For more than 20 years, Amberly’s Place has served as the only family advocacy center serving the Yuma and surrounding communities. With the Lowes Community Impact Grant, the organization will build an outdoor patio with shade, furniture, and swing set. These enhancements will offer a safe place for victims of abuse to get fresh air, stretch their legs, all while still being in a safe environment.

Angleton ISD Education Foundation
Angleton, Texas

The Angleton ISD Education Foundation is committed to supporting student success by removing barriers to learning and enhancing educational opportunities for all students. With funding from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will renovate its existing student- and counselor-led food market pantry. These improvements will create a safe, dignified, and accessible space that reduces stigma, expands capacity, and ensures more students and families have consistent access to nutritious food and essential resources.

Aspiritech, NFP
Evanston, Illinois

Aspiritech’s mission is to empower individuals on the autism spectrum to fulfill their potential through meaningful employment combined with social opportunity. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, Aspiritech will renovate its Evanston headquarters to improve ADA accessibility, add sensory-friendly spaces, and expand its workforce training academy and cybersecurity classroom. These improvements will create a more inclusive, accessible environment that supports long-term economic mobility for autistic and neurodivergent adults in the community.

Beacon Housing, Inc.
Los Angeles, California

Beacon Housing is a nonprofit affordable housing provider serving the greater Pasadena region. With the Lowe's Community Impact Grant, Beacon Housing will furnish 19 affordable homes for Eaton Fire survivors, install landscaping and community gathering spaces at a 14-unit bungalow court in Altadena, and convert a detached garage into an additional permanently affordable accessory dwelling unit. These improvements will expand the supply of affordable housing and ensure that very low-income Eaton Fire survivor households can move into fully functional, dignified homes.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles (BGCMLA) ensures young people in under-resourced L.A. communities have academic support, workforce exposure, and safe environments needed to succeed in school and beyond. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, BGCMLA will replace flooring, renovate two bathrooms to make them ADA compliant, and remodel a former game room to create Creative Lab 2, a space for members that will cultivate the creative voices of young people by providing access to high-quality, culturally relevant programs in music, visual arts, performing arts, and creative workforce development.

Bridge Builder Communities International
Augusta, Georgia

Bridge Builder Communities empowers young adults aging out of foster care by providing housing and supportive services that promote stability and independence. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will create four pod plazas within its 25-house Tiny Home Village in Augusta. These shared spaces will strengthen the Village community environment so residents can build relationships, practice life skills, and transition more successfully into stable, independent adulthood.

Cada Casa
Beaverton, Oregon

Cada Casa is a Beaverton-based nonprofit dedicated to expanding Career and Technical Education (CTE), creative opportunity, and economic mobility for multicultural youth and families in Washington County. With support from Lowe’s, Cada Casa will renovate a community facility into a Design Lab and Community Cultural Center featuring a tools library, workshop and classroom spaces, and a modular environment for hands-on technical training and community programming.

Camptown
Indianapolis, Indiana

Camptown’s mission is to transform the lives of urban youth through outdoor adventures that build character, confidence, and hope. The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will support critical infrastructure renovations on Camptown’s property, improving gathering spaces, program areas, and essential facilities that support outdoor learning and adventure programming. These improvements will create a safer, more accessible environment where more young people can connect with nature, build life skills, and experience the confidence and hope that comes from meaningful outdoor experiences.

Caring People Alliance
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Caring People Alliance is a Philadelphia nonprofit committed to fighting poverty and injustice by providing high-quality services to those in need. CPA’s South Philadelphia Boys & Girls Club will benefit from Lowe’s Community Impact Grant through the remodeling of the entrance area establish safer screening and controlled entry into the building. This renovation will help keep kids, seniors, and staff safe while encouraging more people to make use of the many resources that the Club provides.

CASA of South Central Missouri
Rolla, Missouri

CASA of South Central Missouri advocates for abused and neglected children by recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to represent their best interests in court. Grant funds will support renovations to create a dedicated learning and support space, including renovating an unused space into a training center and a welcoming environment for children in crisis. These improvements will strengthen volunteer advocacy, enhance community collaboration, and provide a safe, comforting space for children during some of their most difficult moments.

City Care
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

City Care is a nonprofit serving neighbors experiencing homelessness in Oklahoma through low-barrier shelter, housing navigation, case management, and permanent supportive housing, with the mission of helping individuals and families achieve lasting stability. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, our Oklahoma City Night Shelter will undergo critical renovations, including bathroom upgrades, interior painting, improved lighting, patio and entryway enhancements. These updates will create a safer, more welcoming, and dignified environment, ensuring that the first step out of crisis begins with care.

Creativets
Nashville, Tennessee

CreatiVets empowers wounded veterans to heal through the arts and music by providing free, trauma informed creative programs. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, we will complete critical renovations and buildout work needed to make its Art & Music Center functional and ready for occupancy. These improvements will allow the organization to expand programming, reduce wait times, and create a dedicated space that supports veteran healing while also serving as a resource for the broader community.

Cullman County Public Library System
Cullman, Alabama

The Cullman County Public Library has served Cullman, Alabama for over 50 years. The library building was established in 1967 and is in need of expansion to meet the needs of the growing community. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the library will install a new rock garden and playground in the back lawn to provide a safe place for children to play, families to socialize, and patrons to enjoy the outdoor space.

Daybreak
Dayton, Ohio

Daybreak is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and young adults experiencing homelessness to achieve safety, independence, and thriving futures through holistic, person‑centered support. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, Daybreak will renovate unused space on its campus to create six new child‑friendly emergency shelter rooms, a shared bathroom, and a community living space, while expanding and modifying adjacent areas to safely support pregnant and parenting young adults. These improvements will give more children and young families a safe place to call home during crisis—keeping families together, expanding shelter capacity, and strengthening the community’s response to youth homelessness.

Dream Acres
TOPEKA, Kansas

Dream Acres is a supportive living community dedicated to empowering adults living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) through stable housing, life skills development, and opportunities for independence. With support from Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will complete a walipini-style greenhouse. These improvements will create year-round food production and education space that increases access to fresh produce, builds vocational skills, and strengthens food security and resilience within our local community.

Eastern North Carolina Farmer Collaborative
Princeville, North Carolina

The Eastern North Carolina Farmer Collaborative works to support and sustain local farmers through education, shared resources, and community-based initiatives that strengthen regional agriculture. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will complete its Educational Food Safety Center. These improvements will provide farmers with a safe, accessible place to properly handle and store produce, increasing food safety, expanding market opportunities, and benefiting the health and economic vitality of our community.

Enterprise Fire Department
Enterprise, Alabama

The Enterprise Fire Department is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of residents and visitors by providing rapid, professional response to fires, accidents, natural disasters, and other emergencies. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the department will complete a remodel of the Eastside Fire Station kitchen. These improvements will enhance the readiness, efficiency, and well-being of firefighters, ensuring they are better equipped to serve and protect the community.

Evansville ARC, Inc., dba The Arc of Evansville
Evansville, Indiana

The Arc of Evansville's mission is to connect people with opportunities and purpose, and we have been serving people with disabilities and their families for over 70 years. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the agency will create a functional learning kitchen and outdoor learning center and complete exterior repairs to our Haynie's Corner Community Pathway Hub. These renovations will expand opportunities to build relationships and create consistent avenues for engagement.

Every Day Action
Los Angeles, California

Every Day Action is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to reducing food waste and fighting food insecurity by redistributing surplus food to communities in need. With support from Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will complete the Food Insecurity Shared Hub (F.I.S.H.) alongside nonprofit partners. These improvements will expand capacity to recover and distribute food in real time, strengthening a collaborative network that increases access to nutritious meals.

Family Support Center
Taylorsville, Utah

Family Support Center protects children, strengthens families, and prevents child abuse through education, crisis support, and essential resources, including LifeStart Village, a 37-unit transitional housing community, where single parents and their children rebuild after homelessness, domestic violence, and crisis. With the Lowe's Community Impact Grant, LifeStart Village will refresh residential units and establish a community garden where residents grow fresh food together. These improvements ensure every family arrives in a space that feels safe and dignified, helping to restore a sense of peace, purpose, and belonging.

Fiftyforward Donelson Station
Nashville, Tennessee

FiftyForward Donelson Station’s mission is to support, champion, and enhance the lives of those 50 and older through programs that promote healthy aging, connection, and lifelong engagement. Grant funding will allow the organization to replace the deteriorating flooring in its lobby, hallways, and classrooms, creating a safer, more accessible, and more welcoming environment for all who use our facility. These improvements will strengthen its ability to serve more than 800 older adults and host community partners, ensuring the center remains a vibrant hub for the Donelson area.

Final Salute, Inc.
Alexandria, Virginia

Final Salute, Inc. supports women veterans and their children who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness by providing housing and services that promote stability, independence, and long-term success. With the Lowe’s Community Impact grant, Final Salute will improve a transitional housing property in Alexandria, Virginia by removing hazardous trees, replacing deteriorating perimeter fencing, and enhancing the outdoor areas. These renovations will create a safer, more secure, and welcoming outdoor space where women veterans and their children can gather, play, and continue rebuilding their lives.
