Lowe’s Hometowns restores and revitalizes spaces that serve as hubs and heartbeats of communities including food pantries, parks, community centers, gardens, safe and affordable housing, first responder facilities and programs serving veterans. The 100 projects selected this year span 44 states and Washington, D.C. – positively impacting millions of Americans and helping Lowe’s deliver on its promise of 10 million square feet of impact this year.

Adapt Movement
Carlsbad, California

Adapt Movement is a nonprofit dedicated to helping people with neurological conditions—such as ALS, spinal cord injuries, and MS—regain strength, independence, and quality of life through movement-based therapy. With support from Lowe’s Hometowns, the organization will transform a stark concrete courtyard into a vibrant, accessible space where clients can experience the healing power of aquatic therapy. This transformation will provide a safe and welcoming environment that supports physical recovery, emotional well-being, and meaningful connection for both clients and their caregivers.

Affordable Housing Alliance
Eatontown, New Jersey

The Affordable Housing Alliance, a long-standing leader in providing safe and affordable housing for over 30 years, will renovate and enhance the Pine Tree Community Room and Playground with support from the Lowe’s Hometowns grant. The project includes a full kitchen update with new cabinets and flooring, interior painting, upgraded HVAC and electrical systems, and the reconstruction of an exterior accessibility ramp. In addition, the outdoor playground will be revitalized with new equipment and decking, creating a safe and engaging environment for families. These improvements will transform the Pine Tree Community into a more welcoming, functional, and vibrant space where residents can gather, learn, and play.

Alaska Zoo
Anchorage, Alaska

The Alaska Zoo is committed to conserving Arctic, sub-Arctic, and similar climate species through education, research, and community engagement. With the support of the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the zoo will renovate its Discovery Center with new flooring, lighting and windows, fresh paint, a new deck and more. These improvements will expand the center’s functionality and support the continued growth of the zoo’s educational programs and community outreach.

Allamuchy-Green First Aid Squad
Green Township, New Jersey

The Allamuchy-Green First Aid Squad is a fully volunteer emergency medical service dedicated to providing lifesaving care to its community. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the squad will modernize its facility by renovating its meeting room and updating outdated restrooms for improved privacy and functionality, enhancing energy efficiency, and creating a more welcoming space for volunteers. These renovations will help attract and retain members, ultimately improving emergency response times and benefiting the 11,000 residents and thousands of motorists who rely on its services.

America’s VetDogs
Smithtown, New York

America’s VetDogs, a national nonprofit organization, provides service dogs to veterans, active-duty military, and first responders with physical and emotional disabilities free of charge, empowering them to Live Without Boundaries. With this grant from Lowe’s Hometowns, America's VetDogs will renovate the first floor of its administration building—revitalizing its lobby, classrooms, meeting spaces, student dining area, and training lounge to create a more functional and accessible space. These improvements will enhance our ability to train service dog teams, engage more volunteers, and support staff, ultimately allowing us to better serve those who have sacrificed for our country and communities nationwide.

Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads
Virginia Beach, Virginia

Patriot’s Pantry at the Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads has been serving the largest concentration of military-connected individuals in the nation for the past 5 years out of a converted storage closet. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the organization will install new cabinetry, shelving, countertops, flooring, fresh paint and a handicap-accessible pantry door. These renovations will allow much greater storage space, alleviate the need to rent storage units, create a more welcoming atmosphere for patrons, and allow expansion of capacity to serve these brave families.

Bear-Glasgow Family YMCA
Newark, Delaware

The YMCA of Delaware’s mission is to empower youth, foster healthy living, and promote strong communities. With support from the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the Bear-Glasgow Y is able to complete safety and accessibility enhancements to the Ninja Obstacle Course at our recently state-licensed Camp Cassey. Work will involve adding elements to the course and installing a shade system to ensure a safe, inclusive experience for all campers. This addition will promote physical fitness, cognitive development, and teamwork among children and youth across our community, fostering a stronger, healthier community for all.

Billings Head Start
Billings, Montana

Head Start Inc. provides comprehensive services for young children and their families to achieve school readiness and lifelong success. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, we will remove unsafe playground structures, install new play equipment and surfacing, add two greenhouses for year-round gardening, build storage sheds to protect outdoor play and gardening materials, and add two "buddy" benches. These improvements will create a safer, more inclusive, and engaging space where children can learn, grow, and thrive through active outdoor play and hands-on learning experiences.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County
Asbury Park, New Jersey

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County Club has been a beacon of hope in Monmouth County, providing safe places where young minds are nurtured to reach their fullest potential for over 86 years. The organization's singular focus on youth development allows it to effect profound change in the lives of the children it serves, building a community where they can explore their interests in a safe and affirming environment. With the Lowe’s Hometown grant, the Club will make crucial interior renovations including new flooring throughout. The upgrades will ensure that the space is safe, and welcoming for the hundreds of students that walk through the door each day.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady
Schenectady, New York

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady enables and inspires all children, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. With the Lowe's Hometowns grant, the organization will be beautifying and making several locations throughout the Rotterdam Club safer by updating restrooms, adding all new flooring, and painting virtually every program space.

Breakthrough Urban Ministries, Inc.
Chicago, Illinois

Breakthrough has provided shelter, food, education, youth development, employment support, and behavioral health services in East Garfield Park for over 25 years, serving more than 20,000 individuals annually. With support from the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the Breakthrough FamilyPlex will undergo renovations, including resealed gym flooring, new wall padding, and fresh paint in several classrooms and community spaces. These upgrades will create a safer, more engaging environment for educational programs and activities for youth and families.

Brookings Public Library
Brookings, South Dakota

The mission of the Brookings Public Library is to inspire curiosity and discovery, advance knowledge, and strengthen the Brookings community through diverse and inclusive collections, services, and programs. Through the Lowe’s Hometown Grant program, the Library will give a much-needed update to shelving in both the Children’s Area and the Teen Space, while also creating a distinctive and engaging experience in each area with visual updates. These updates will ensure children, families, and teens have safe, welcoming, and engaging spaces at the Brookings Public Library.

Camp Graves
Mayfield, Kentucky

Camp Rendezvous Veteran Housing and Work Center provides temporary housing and supportive services for veterans, helping them break cycles of homelessness. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the organization will create spaces for therapeutic activities, skill-building workshops, and community connections. This project will empower veterans to heal, grow, and reintegrate into society.

Canopy Village
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Canopy Village is North Idaho’s only crisis respite and emergency shelter for youth, also providing residential treatment and family support services. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the facility will remove old flooring, mask windows, paint interior walls, and replace worn vinyl and carpet throughout its 35-year-old residential home, which serves up to twelve children at a time. These renovations will enhance the safety and comfort of the space, helping ensure that Canopy Village remains a secure and supportive environment for the hundreds of vulnerable children who rely on its care each year.

Catholic Charities of West Tennessee
Memphis, Tennessee

Catholic Charities of West Tennessee (CCWTN) provides food, shelter, and essential services to individuals and families experiencing poverty and homelessness, empowering them to move toward stability and self-sufficiency. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, CCWTN will rebuild crumbling retaining walls, install concrete seating, replace outdated HVAC units, and enhance the property with landscaping and functional seating for those we serve. These improvements will create a safer, more dignified, and welcoming environment for the 150+ individuals who rely on CCWTN daily for meals, support, and hope.

Center for Deaf-Blind Persons, Inc.
West Allis, Wisconsin

The Center for Deaf-Blind Persons (CDBP) is Wisconsin’s only organization dedicated to empowering individuals with dual sensory loss by providing essential training and support for independent living. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, CDBP will renovate its kitchen and create an adaptive community learning space, incorporating accessible cabinetry, tactile pathways, adaptive appliances, and technology to enhance safety and usability. These improvements will provide a state-of-the-art environment where individuals with Deaf-Blindness can develop vital life skills, fostering independence, dignity, and community inclusion.

Central Mecklenburg American Legion Post 321
Huntersville, North Carolina

American Legion Post 321 is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the well-being of local veterans, active-duty military, military families, and the community while promoting patriotism and awareness of veterans' contributions. With the support of the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the organization will renovate its facility by upgrading its bathrooms to comply with ADA standards, conducting mold remediation, updating the well-used kitchen, and replacing the deteriorating flooring, ceiling, and outdated ductwork in our canteen. These improvements will create a safer, more accessible, and welcoming space, allowing us to better serve veterans, host community events, and expand programs that support those who have served our nation.

Central Texas Table of Grace
Round Rock, Texas

Central Texas Table of Grace provides a nurturing and stable home for children and youth in crisis, where they can heal and thrive through compassionate care and evidence-based programs. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the organization will convert an existing building into a fully equipped mechanics workshop by installing vehicle lifts, durable flooring, ventilation, upgraded electrical systems, and dedicated workstations. This transformation will empower foster youth and local community members with hands-on vocational training, supporting long-term independence and economic opportunity.

Charlotte Bilingual Preschool
Charlotte, North Carolina

Charlotte Bilingual Preschool was founded in 1999 to provide Latino children with a free, high-quality bilingual education and today serves 700 Latino children and adults annually through 3 business lines: a Bilingual Preschool, a Workforce Development program and a Family Services program. With the Lowe's Hometowns grant, Charlotte Bilingual Preschool will install new flooring, paint the interior and exterior of our building and install a digital sign at the roadside of our property. These renovations will provide our deserving Latino children and adults with a welcoming, visually appealing building and grounds.

Cherry Street Mission's Sparrows Nest-Women's Homeless Shelter
Toledo, Ohio

Cherry Street Mission Ministries provides essential support to individuals experiencing homelessness in Toledo, Ohio. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the Sparrows Nest Women’s Shelter will receive new commercial-grade flooring and fresh paint in key areas, improving safety and comfort for residents. These renovations will create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for the 600+ women who rely on the shelter each year.

Children of Bellevue
New York, New York

New York City’s Bellevue Hospital has been serving New Yorkers regardless of their ability to pay for more than 100 years. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant the historic hospital will transform two crucial areas: the pediatric inpatient unit will get a welcoming family and teen center alongside a dedicated space for families and staff to meet, featuring updated furniture, child-safe storage, and essential amenities. Additionally, the hospital’s main auditorium will be revitalized with ADA compliant and modern seating, enhancing its usability for educational and community events and ultimately benefiting thousands each year.

Children's Homes of Iredell County
Statesville, North Carolina

Children’s Homes of Iredell County is a foster care agency that is dedicated to empowering at-risk children and young adults, helping them overcome adversity and reach their full potential through evidence-based programs and family-modeled environments. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the agency will renovate an existing transitional living home by adding three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchenette/social area, increasing capacity to serve up to six additional residents. These improvements will provide young adults aging out of foster care with a safe, supportive space to develop essential life skills, while fostering a more resilient, thriving community by reducing the long-term costs of homelessness and instability.

City of Billings Fire Department
Billings, Montana

The City of Billings Fire Department provides outstanding emergency services to the 300,000 residents of Montana's largest metropolitan area. The Lowe's Hometowns grant will fund the interior remodel of Fire Station 5 to replace failing infrastructure and provide private bedrooms and bathrooms for the dedicated firefighters who serve the community 24/7. These critical improvements will promote uninterrupted rest for non-responding crew members, improve health outcomes through proper decontamination facilities, and ensure a more effective emergency response system that the entire community relies on during their most vulnerable moments.

City of Obetz
Obetz, Ohio

The City of Obetz is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community by providing essential services and programs for residents of all ages. With the Lowe’s Hometown Grant, we will make the Community Senior Center ADA accessible, and the city's food pantry more user friendly. These improvements will ensure a safer, more comfortable space for seniors, veterans, families, and youth, strengthening the connections and services that make Obetz a thriving and compassionate community.
