Daybreak is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and young adults experiencing homelessness to achieve safety, independence, and thriving futures through holistic, person‑centered support. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, Daybreak will renovate unused space on its campus to create six new child‑friendly emergency shelter rooms, a shared bathroom, and a community living space, while expanding and modifying adjacent areas to safely support pregnant and parenting young adults. These improvements will give more children and young families a safe place to call home during crisis—keeping families together, expanding shelter capacity, and strengthening the community’s response to youth homelessness.
