Family Support Center protects children, strengthens families, and prevents child abuse through education, crisis support, and essential resources, including LifeStart Village, a 37-unit transitional housing community, where single parents and their children rebuild after homelessness, domestic violence, and crisis. With the Lowe's Community Impact Grant, LifeStart Village will refresh residential units and establish a community garden where residents grow fresh food together.

The Arc of Evansville's mission is to connect people with opportunities and purpose, and we have been serving people with disabilities and their families for over 70 years. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the agency will create a functional learning kitchen and outdoor learning center and complete exterior repairs to our Haynie's Corner Community Pathway Hub. These renovations will expand opportunities to build relationships and create consistent avenues for engagement.

The Cullman County Public Library has served Cullman, Alabama for over 50 years. The library building was established in 1967 and is in need of expansion to meet the needs of the growing community. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the library will install a new rock garden and playground in the back lawn to provide a safe place for children to play, families to socialize, and patrons to enjoy the outdoor space.

CreatiVets empowers wounded veterans to heal through the arts and music by providing free, trauma informed creative programs. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, we will complete critical renovations and buildout work needed to make its Art & Music Center functional and ready for occupancy. These improvements will allow the organization to expand programming, reduce wait times, and create a dedicated space that supports veteran healing while also serving as a resource for the broader community.

CASA of South Central Missouri advocates for abused and neglected children by recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to represent their best interests in court. Grant funds will support renovations to create a dedicated learning and support space, including renovating an unused space into a training center and a welcoming environment for children in crisis. These improvements will strengthen volunteer advocacy, enhance community collaboration, and provide a safe, comforting space for children during some of their most difficult moments.

Caring People Alliance is a Philadelphia nonprofit committed to fighting poverty and injustice by providing high-quality services to those in need. CPA’s South Philadelphia Boys & Girls Club will benefit from Lowe’s Community Impact Grant through the remodeling of the entrance area establish safer screening and controlled entry into the building. This renovation will help keep kids, seniors, and staff safe while encouraging more people to make use of the many resources that the Club provides.

With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will renovate a larger facility by constructing dedicated spaces for Back to the Barracks (peer support), Veteran Disability Claims Assistance (private offices), and Hearts Behind the Barracks (family support).
