SheBuilds Futures is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing girls for careers in architecture, construction, engineering, and the skilled trades through hands-on learning experiences. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will complete the interior build-out of the Building Futures Innovation Academy. These improvements will create a safe, hands-on learning environment that strengthens the local workforce pipeline and provides students with access to real-world skills and career opportunities.

ShareHouse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive addiction recovery and mental health services that support individuals in building stable, healthy lives. With support from Lowe’s, the organization will construct two outdoor green spaces featuring gazebos, patios, and landscaping to create welcoming environments for reflection and connection. These improvements will provide restorative spaces for clients and staff, strengthening recovery outcomes and supporting the overall well-being of our community.

Sergeant Bluff Fire, Rescue and EMS Foundation is a volunteer Fire Department in Northwest Iowa that has been providing services to Sergeant Bluff, Woodbury Township and surrounding areas for over 100 years. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the department will be able to create an outdoor patio space that will include cement, fencing, a shed and patio furnishings. This new area will allow fire department members a place to decompress, share meals and strengthen peer support.

Roswell Organization for Community Development’s mission is to preserve the historical aspects of the neighborhood, which includes the renovation of historic buildings, including the 155-year-old historic Zion Missionary Baptist Church. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the empowerment center will completely transform the interior of the building These renovations will provide a much-needed space for expanding community food giveaways, conducting meetings, wedding and establishing educational venues.

Through the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, Rhode Island Women in Trades Skills will renovate a historic carriage house into the Rhode Island Women in the Trades Skilled Trades Training Center, which will include a hands-on learning space and a community toolbox that provides access to tools equipment and training resources. The center will strengthen workforce development by preparing women for apprenticeships union careers and construction jobs that provide family sustaining wages while preserving community history.

Through Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the High School will revitalize its support space by replacing aged carpet and installing comfortable modular seating, a therapeutic group table, organizational shelving, and a calming aquarium. These enhancements will provide a therapeutic sanctuary that empowers students to manage difficult emotions, ultimately reducing classroom avoidance and promoting a safer, more inclusive school community.

Portland Community Reinvestment Initiatives (PCRI)’s mission is to provide affordable housing and culturally specific services that promote family stability, self‑sufficiency, and wealth creation for communities in North and Northeast Portland. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant program, PCRI will replace an unsafe playground with new play equipment, accessible safety surfacing, perimeter fencing, landscaping, and seating at the Maya Angelou Apartments and Albina Head Start site.
