Camptown’s mission is to transform the lives of urban youth through outdoor adventures that build character, confidence, and hope. The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will support critical infrastructure renovations on Camptown’s property, improving gathering spaces, program areas, and essential facilities that support outdoor learning and adventure programming. These improvements will create a safer, more accessible environment where more young people can connect with nature, build life skills, and experience the confidence and hope that comes from meaningful outdoor experiences.

Cada Casa is a Beaverton-based nonprofit dedicated to expanding Career and Technical Education (CTE), creative opportunity, and economic mobility for multicultural youth and families in Washington County. With support from Lowe’s, Cada Casa will renovate a community facility into a Design Lab and Community Cultural Center featuring a tools library, workshop and classroom spaces, and a modular environment for hands-on technical training and community programming.

Bridge Builder Communities empowers young adults aging out of foster care by providing housing and supportive services that promote stability and independence. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will create four pod plazas within its 25-house Tiny Home Village in Augusta. These shared spaces will strengthen the Village community environment so residents can build relationships, practice life skills, and transition more successfully into stable, independent adulthood.

Beacon Housing is a nonprofit affordable housing provider serving the greater Pasadena region. With the Lowe's Community Impact Grant, Beacon Housing will furnish 19 affordable homes for Eaton Fire survivors, install landscaping and community gathering spaces at a 14-unit bungalow court in Altadena, and convert a detached garage into an additional permanently affordable accessory dwelling unit. These improvements will expand the supply of affordable housing and ensure that very low-income Eaton Fire survivor households can move into fully functional, dignified homes.

Aspiritech’s mission is to empower individuals on the autism spectrum to fulfill their potential through meaningful employment combined with social opportunity. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, Aspiritech will renovate its Evanston headquarters to improve ADA accessibility, add sensory-friendly spaces, and expand its workforce training academy and cybersecurity classroom. These improvements will create a more inclusive, accessible environment that supports long-term economic mobility for autistic and neurodivergent adults in the community.

With the Lowes Community Impact Grant, the organization will build an outdoor patio with shade, furniture, and swing set. These enhancements will offer a safe place for victims of abuse to get fresh air, stretch their legs, all while still being in a safe environment.

Alianza

Alianza has been providing emergency, confidential shelter to domestic violence victims since 1980. With the Lowe’s Community Impact grant, the agency will renovate the shelter’s communal kitchen with new flooring, storage cabinets, appliances, lighting, paint, and kitchen furniture. These renovations will create a warm and inviting space for residents to gather, socialize, and prepare meals, and will preserve the shelter's useful life.

5th Squad

5th Squad is a Veteran-led nonprofit dedicated to “Veterans Helping Veterans” by providing immediate assistance, peer support, and community-based programs that ensure no Veteran stands alone. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will renovate a larger facility by constructing dedicated spaces for Back to the Barracks (peer support), Veteran Disability Claims Assistance (private offices), and Hearts Behind the Barracks (family support).
