The Arc of Evansville's mission is to connect people with opportunities and purpose, and we have been serving people with disabilities and their families for over 70 years. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the agency will create a functional learning kitchen and outdoor learning center and complete exterior repairs to our Haynie's Corner Community Pathway Hub. These renovations will expand opportunities to build relationships and create consistent avenues for engagement.

The Enterprise Fire Department is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of residents and visitors by providing rapid, professional response to fires, accidents, natural disasters, and other emergencies. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the department will complete a remodel of the Eastside Fire Station kitchen. These improvements will enhance the readiness, efficiency, and well-being of firefighters, ensuring they are better equipped to serve and protect the community.

Daybreak is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and young adults experiencing homelessness to achieve safety, independence, and thriving futures through holistic, person‑centered support. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, Daybreak will renovate unused space on its campus to create six new child‑friendly emergency shelter rooms, a shared bathroom, and a community living space, while expanding and modifying adjacent areas to safely support pregnant and parenting young adults.

The Cullman County Public Library has served Cullman, Alabama for over 50 years. The library building was established in 1967 and is in need of expansion to meet the needs of the growing community. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the library will install a new rock garden and playground in the back lawn to provide a safe place for children to play, families to socialize, and patrons to enjoy the outdoor space.

Caring People Alliance is a Philadelphia nonprofit committed to fighting poverty and injustice by providing high-quality services to those in need. CPA’s South Philadelphia Boys & Girls Club will benefit from Lowe’s Community Impact Grant through the remodeling of the entrance area establish safer screening and controlled entry into the building. This renovation will help keep kids, seniors, and staff safe while encouraging more people to make use of the many resources that the Club provides.
