Franciscan Village provides seniors with high-quality housing and site programming designed to meet their physical, social, and psychological needs. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will install a direct concrete walkway, a reflection patio, five shaded resting stations, and sixteen new trees to bridge the gap between its residential buildings and outdoor amenities. These improvements will foster intergenerational connection and mobility confidence by providing a safe, restorative environment where seniors and neighboring students can thrive together.

In collaboration with staff, community, parents, and students the Marlington Local School District develops lifelong learners who understand and apply knowledge and demonstrate excellence in pursuing the highest standards with effective intervention to challenge every student. The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will allow the district to construct an outdoor storage building at Washington Elementary.

Daybreak is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and young adults experiencing homelessness to achieve safety, independence, and thriving futures through holistic, person‑centered support. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, Daybreak will renovate unused space on its campus to create six new child‑friendly emergency shelter rooms, a shared bathroom, and a community living space, while expanding and modifying adjacent areas to safely support pregnant and parenting young adults.

The Village of Oak Harbor is revitalizing its community through reliving its history and creating great spaces for people of all ages and abilities. The Lowe's Hometowns grant will enable the Village to create inspiring public space along the Portage River featuring riverfront access, a sitting area, public art, and more. These renovations will allow area residents to connect with their natural resources and live happier, healthier lives.

The City of Obetz is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community by providing essential services and programs for residents of all ages. With the Lowe’s Hometown Grant, we will make the Community Senior Center ADA accessible, and the city's food pantry more user friendly. These improvements will ensure a safer, more comfortable space for seniors, veterans, families, and youth, strengthening the connections and services that make Obetz a thriving and compassionate community.

Cherry Street Mission Ministries provides essential support to individuals experiencing homelessness in Toledo, Ohio. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the Sparrows Nest Women’s Shelter will receive new commercial-grade flooring and fresh paint in key areas, improving safety and comfort for residents. These renovations will create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for the 600+ women who rely on the shelter each year.

StarkFresh's Food Justice Campus houses a neighborhood-sized grocery store in an area of town that previously had no affordable food access. Through Lowe's Hometowns, the organization will make updates and repairs to the exterior, including replacing roof shingles, repairing and painting brick walls, repairing storm-damaged windows, and improving fencing, will make this campus an even more vibrant beacon of community.

The Workshops Inc. believes those with disabilities are no different from anyone else and provides support to adults with developmental disabilities throughout Northeast Ohio. Through Lowe's Hometowns, physical improvements to the facility's lunchroom, kitchen, meeting room and entry will improve accessibility and safety.

The Domestic Violence Project seeks to transform the Founding Mother's room in Canton, a place where survivors can "shop" for gently used donations that are donated by the community, and then available in a store-like atmosphere where survivors feel empowered to start making their own decisions. In addition, an office in Canton will be converted into a space where community programs can be conducted in a safe, comfortable environment, including new flooring, paint, and updated furniture.

The Animal Charity of Ohio seeks improvements to better serve its furry clientele. This project includes installing a deep sanitary sink, washer and dryer, shelving and storage units, including free-moving kennels.
