A YMCA seeks to renovate and upgrade its rundown and unsafe sports fields to make them safer and more accessible for the children and other community members who use them, so it can continue to run sports leagues, summer camps and other programs that are vital to the community.

A community-run center for occupational therapy and inclusive education nestled in nature seeks to complete its six-sided treehouse building so it can better serve the community. The center promotes the mental and physical well-being of youth and inclusion of people of all ages and abilities through holistic, hands-on educational programming.
Activate Selma
A community organization seeks to revitalize a small rural community through a series of beautification and improvement initiatives. Focused on the downtown area, projects include turning a neglected park into an exercise yard for an animal hospital’s patients, repairing and prepping a wall that faces the town hall for a mural painting, refreshing painted trash cans and painting playground equipment in the children’s park. Each improvement will help make the downtown area a bit more vibrant.

A community health district seeks assistance in improving its community garden in a food desert, which will help fill a critical need for healthy and quality food access and education that will help residents to take charge of their health by understanding nutritional benefits of informed food choices. The garden will also strengthen community ties.
