Do Greater Charlotte empowers communities to do greater by facilitating exposure and access to creativity, technology, and entrepreneurship. As they move to occupy a fully functioning space, they are building out multiple studios, including a full-service tech lab complete with equipment, tools and tables. They also need work done on the kitchen and some landscaping work.

The Downtown Development Association, in partnership with the City of Grand Forks, North Dakota, wants to transform its town square from a deteriorating, underused, and unsafe space to the beloved community gathering location it was always intended to be. Infrastructure updates would include electrical, painting, level pavers, lighting updates, and additional safety pieces.

GAP Ministries plans to build out a Family Engagement Center on its new property. This center will offer targeted preventative care for families who are living in crisis and on the brink of removal from their homes. It will also provide remedial care for families who have been separated due to neglect and abuse. The project would finish their building.

The Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas want to update and upgrade their current outdoor space into a safe place for girls to participate in Girl Scout programming, be together and have fun. Investments would include new fencing and outdoor equipment (e.g., grills, picnic tables), updating the stage, painting the exterior and creating a garden that will provide girls with hands-on experience.

Huntington County Child Advocacy Center DBA McKenzie's Hope

McKenzie's Hope is a Child Advocacy, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center. This project would expand into the building next door to double its capacity and allow the center to better support the children, adults and families it serves. The expansion would create a room large enough to fit the number of team members who need to be present during interviews, and it would add onsite storage.

Humane Society of West Michigan

The Humane Society of West Michigan would like to improve access to its HELP program for low/no income pet owners who cannot afford emergent care for their animals, and speed recovery and adoption for sick animals surrendered each year. The project entails remodeling a room where animals can stay, providing better care for those animals in more appropriately sized housing. A remodeled space would allow staff to clean and work in the area more efficiently, and reduced traffic for sick animals will shorten recovery times.

The Jake Koenigsdorf Foundation reduces the barriers to recovery by providing support, education and recovery resources for people affected by substance use disorder who are willing to build a long-term solution. The Foundation has completed extensive remodeling of a 1900 victorian but has several remaining critical safety needs including adding a new back deck and an external emergency exit staircase.
