Restoration Pointe Nashville operates in a historic church that serves as a homeless shelter and a hub for community care including free clothing, food and more. Through Lowe's Hometowns, renovations to this facility will allow for a women’s shelter in the area, helping thousands of Nashville's most vulnerable individuals and truly help restore a sense of pride and community to a place that does so much for the city of Nashville.

Hispanic Human Resource Council (HHRC) is a unique nonprofit social service organization with a goal to educate young children and support their families by improving access to services. Through the Lowe's Hometowns project, seven buildings on the campus will be upgraded, including cement work, painting, foundation and walkway repairs.

Highlanders Boxing Club

Highlanders Boxing Club is a crucial part of their neighborhood and continues to see even more youth joining their programs. The Lowe's Hometowns project will help add a prefabricated building to the back of their existing building to expand their programming space. New flooring will be added to the existing building as well. The club's expanded community space will allow the organization to empower even more youth and show them what is possible.

The Pocatello Senior Activity Center is a vital part of the community that provides nutritious meals, socialization, activities and resources. Through Lowe's Hometowns, the center's restrooms will be remodeled to be ADA compliant, ensuring seniors are safe and needs are met.

Gladney Center for Adoption’s mission is to create bright futures through adoption. The organization not only helps to facilitate adoption, but also provides advocacy for teen girls in foster care, post-adoption counseling and support and ongoing education. The Lowe’s Hometowns grant will replace their HVAC and add revitalize an outdoor space with sports equipment, landscaping and furniture to create a welcoming space for families to gather and connect.

Special Love and the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center

Special Love partners with the Northern Virginia 4-H Center to provide camping programs for children with cancer and their families. Through Lowe's Hometowns the camp facility will be updated to offer more accessible bathrooms and amenities.  Work will include new bathroom partitions, campfire circle, basketball court, infirmary bathrooms. The renovations will help young patients and their families create lasting memories together.

Fight for Kids Foundation

The Fight for Kids Foundation's (FKF) misison is to provide at-risk youth and young adults with healthy, safe and effective ways of communicating, making decisions and protecting themsleves physically and mentally by fostering positive development, building resilience and enabling children to thrive. The Lowe's Hometowns grant will help build a brand-new homework and computer lab space and expanded kitchen and restroom as well as a new HVAC will ensure these kids have access to physical training and positive leadership.

The project will enhance its outdoor community space, offering educational experiences on material management and sustainable practices. Upgrades include new gardens, awning, sign and ADA accessibility to its fire pits. A water feature will increase sustainability and a brand-new serving bar will generate funding.

The Lowe's Hometowns project will refurbish a child development center with a renovated kitchen, including freshly painted walls, doors and baseboards throughout. New countertops and backsplash, stairs, posts, handrails and a refinished wall in the main area will make this an enriching space, expanding opportunities for people across the lifespan of their community.
