Through Lowe's Hometowns, a renovation of the outdoor space including fencing, benches, tables, chairs and a raised garden bed with irrigation will help create a safe and enjoyable space for community connection.

NFI North, Inc. provides transitional housing services, as well as clinical, medical and vocational and resources for adult men and women with mental health challenges. The Lowe's Hometowns project will remodel a bathroom including reconfiguration of walls, new flooring, new paint, new toilet, shower, sink and vanity in order to create a clean and fresh space for those who rely on the facility.

Off the Street Club is Chicago’s oldest youth center and offers the children of Garfield Park neighborhood a safe place to laugh, dream and reach their full potential. Whether shooting hoops, engaging in one-on-one mentoring or laughing over games, the organization creates a sanctuary where kids can leave their worries behind and envision and achieve a brighter future. The Lowe’s Hometowns grant will help Off the Street Club replace windows and complete critical masonry repairs to ensure the building is a safe, more comfortable and welcoming environment for the children it serves.

Through Lowe's Hometowns, Nashville Classical Charter School West’s campus will receive a new playground and enhancements to their outdoor area, including ADA picnic tables, new trees, cement and a mural. This inviting and dynamic space for kindergarten to sixth grade students and their families will be a beautiful space to gather and feel proud of their community.

The Lowe's Hometowns project will create a more peaceful environment by updating their space to repair damaged windows, install new heating and cooling and bring in refreshed decor.

The Milton Volunteer Fire Department community room provides an affordable space for community events, and more. Renovations through Lowe's Hometowns will include new flooring, wall coverings, acoustic ceilings in the restrooms, a concrete parking area and new storage room for the fire department. The project will be completed in partnership with Cabell County Career Technology Center’s Carpentry program.

Through Lowe's Hometowns, critical repairs such as leveling and waterproofing the basement to address flooding issues, as well as replacing the roof, gutters and damaged siding will all be completed. Storage and a new door will also be added.

The Lowe's Hometowns project will add an accessible entrance and update carpet, tile, flooring, paint, doors and hardware. Security and new signage will also be added.

Renovations and upgrades through Lowe's Hometowns will help transform the current lobby into a one-stop resource center for individuals to successfully transition back into the community and connect to wrap-around services and support.
