HopeHouse OKC walks alongside mothers and their children to provide housing and support as they break the cycles of poverty and homelessness. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will complete much-needed renovations and updates to six homes where our graduate families live, improving safety, functionality, and overall quality. These improvements will provide families with dignified, stable housing they can be proud of, reinforcing their sense of worth and supporting long-term success.

The Home Again Los Angeles (HALA) mission is to assist families experiencing homelessness gain independence by transitioning into permanent housing and employment with the support of our community. The proposed renovation is designed to enhance the functionality, organization, and overall usability of both the food pantry and laundry room. Collectively, these enhancements will modernize the facilities, increase operational capacity, and create a more organized, functional, and welcoming environment.

Hollister Charter School’s mission is to promote a love for learning while preparing students to be academically successful, engaged in their communities, and connected to the land. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will construct a school-based greenhouse for year-round growing and learning. This project will provide students and the broader rural community with increased access to fresh produce, hands-on agricultural education, and a sustainable space that strengthens food security and fosters long-term community resilience.

Hillsborough Township Public Schools is a K-12 district in Somerset County New Jersey that operates nine schools for approximately 7,400 students annually. The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will help renovate a high school classroom that will allow the school district to expand its course offerings to include a new Home Maintenance course. The work will inspire future homeowners and expose our students to a variety of hands-on careers.

The Hidden Valley Community Garden and Beautification Committees are dedicated to cultivating a healthy, connected neighborhood and shared green spaces for the community to enjoy. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the committees will renovate and expand its garden beds, beautify and install community areas for planting and congregating, while creating accessibility for seniors and disabled residents. These enhancements will increase community pride, food access, promote wellness and community engagement.

Hero’s and SHero’s Corner provides a safe, sober, trauma-informed drop-in center in Kentwood, Michigan, where veterans and their families across West Michigan can access peer support, mental health recovery resources, meals, workforce readiness, outreach programming, and community connection. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will renovate its 7,500-square-foot facility.

Heal the Bay is a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to improving the health of coastal waters, watersheds, and marine life of Los Angeles through science, education, community action, and advocacy. With the support of the Lowe's Community Impact Grant, Heal the Bay Aquarium will undertake facility renovations that expands its capacity as a coastal education and community resource for the students, educators, and families it serves.

Harbor House of Central Florida serves domestic violence survivors in Orange County through community offices and its emergency shelter, which provides safe housing to more than 850 survivors each year, including women, men, children, and pets. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, Harbor House will enhance its nine-acre shelter campus with improvements to its vegetable garden, butterfly garden, and meditation path. These upgrades create peaceful spaces where survivors can heal, grow, and thrive.

Hands On Hartford’s mission is to care for its neighbors by meeting basic needs and supporting greater stability through food, housing, and health services. The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will help the organization renovate bathrooms and backroom spaces to create a clean, welcoming environment for those who power its work. These improvements will uplift the people behind its programs, strengthening morale and well-being so they can continue serving Hartford’s most vulnerable residents.

Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County serves the largest county in Tampa Bay, building and preserving decent shelter for vulnerable families for 39 years. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will make key capital improvements that create a strong vibrant community in Windhorst Commons, a new affordable homeownership development. Improving sidewalks and adding a community park, a gazebo and green spaces will boost health and safety for neighborhood families as well as resilience to extreme weather.
