As part of a broad-scale revitalization effort for the historic city of Pittston, including a goal to have more public art per square mile than any city in the country, city officials seek to complete an art academy, which will provide affordable work studios for artists as well as several classrooms for art instruction. The project will allow for long-term sustainable physical space and community programming opportunities for both accomplished and fledgling artists, and encourage inclusive, diverse community engagement.

The Ted Phea Boys & Girls Club in East Lubbock seeks to renovate its oldest facility. The club gives children a safe and positive place to go every day after school and all summer long, and remodeling the library to add computers will help children ages 6-12 participate in the Stride Reading program, which will keep them reading on grade level or help them get caught up.

Anchor Ridge has been serving the North Wilkesboro and greater Wilkes County area since 2012, and its mission is to fight poverty by providing hungry families with food, basic hygiene items, household goods, and home repair supplies. Located in one of the original Lowe's distribution centers, Anchor Ridge serves thousands of people on a monthly basis throughout the Appalachian Mountain region. Anchor Ridge's Kid's Club program, serving hundreds of local Wilkes County kids on a monthly basis also operates from this facility.

More than 700 urban Kansas City children from infants to teenagers come to Operation Breakthrough each weekday for nutritious food, lively learning, health and dental care, therapy and TLC, while their parents work or attend school.

The new space will accommodate 200 hungry men, women, and children each day with a warm meal, safety, and respite from the trauma of life on the street.

The new City Hall, located in the city’s downtown, would serve as a hub for several uses, from housing shared community resources to creating more space for public meetings and gatherings, and ultimately further the development of the city.
