The Ted Phea Boys & Girls Club in East Lubbock seeks to renovate its oldest facility. The club gives children a safe and positive place to go every day after school and all summer long, and remodeling the library to add computers will help children ages 6-12 participate in the Stride Reading program, which will keep them reading on grade level or help them get caught up. 

Anchor Ridge has been serving the North Wilkesboro and greater Wilkes County area since 2012, and its mission is to fight poverty by providing hungry families with food, basic hygiene items, household goods, and home repair supplies. Located in one of the original Lowe's distribution centers, Anchor Ridge serves thousands of people on a monthly basis throughout the Appalachian Mountain region. Anchor Ridge's Kid's Club program, serving hundreds of local Wilkes County kids on a monthly basis also operates from this facility.

NFL star Travis Kelce's foundation, Eighty-Seven & Running, is supporting Operation Breakthrough and the completion of its new learning space, Ignition Lab. More than 700 urban Kansas City children from infants to teenagers come to Operation Breakthrough each weekday for nutritious food, lively learning, health and dental care, therapy and TLC, while their parents work or attend school.

A community ministry that helps the homeless by providing them tools and resources to stabilize, gain employment and secure and sustain affordable housing seeks assistance in renovating its on-site dining space where meals are served to those in need five days a week. The new space will accommodate 200 hungry men, women, and children each day with a warm meal, safety, and respite from the trauma of life on the street.

The city of Brownsville seeks to renovate a historic bank building and transform it into a new City Hall that will become a community hub that is vibrant, open, and create a sense of pride in the community. The new City Hall, located in the city’s downtown, would serve as a hub for several uses, from housing shared community resources to creating more space for public meetings and gatherings, and ultimately further the development of the city.

A combination of mechanical and exterior facade improvements will simultaneously enhance the quality of life for the homeless residents and generate a sense of pride for the entire community.

A private nonprofit dedicated to archaeological research, historic preservation and public education seeks assistance in preserving and restoring its 1938 schoolhouse headquarters which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building is the last of the historic Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp Schoolhouses still standing in New Mexico., and the renovation will provide community residents and visitors with reminders of the building’s rich past and be a model for historic preservation.

A nature center that provides environmental, indigenous culture and nature education as well as interactive experiences for students of all ages and backgrounds seeks assistance in providing a needed upgrade and facelift to the center so it can continue to serve the community and celebrate the natural and cultural resources in the area.

A county library that has built an outdoor demonstration and educational garden seeks assistance in continuing to develop and perfect the garden by adding shade structures, installing walkable paths, and providing tools/materials so volunteers can maintain the garden. Expanding the garden will allow for more opportunities for free quality programming, school enrichment field trips and a space for community members to relax and interact.
