A Boys & Girls Club chapter that promotes healthy living and provides programs and events that unite the community wishes to improve its outdoor space so it can be an inclusive, inviting, and supportive environment where everyone is welcome and can thrive. The chapter hopes to re-landscape its weed-filled lawn with an irrigation system and enhance the outdoor area with creative, age-appropriate play and hang zones that encourage exercise, fun and education.

BlockWork is a grass-roots program developed in 2010 that strives to bring residents and community volunteers together to build cleaner and safer neighborhoods, one block at a time. Working together with property owners, residents, city staff and other support groups, participants help to stop the deterioration of a block of homes each year by painting, landscaping, and revitalizing the area. It serves the residents of the chosen block who don't have the funds or the skills to fix the problems themselves.

A charitable organization that provides limited-income families, adults with disabilities, and seniors with affordable housing wishes to improve its facilities so it can continue to help reduce poverty, strengthen families, and empower communities. Critical repairs and accessibility modifications are needed to ensure the housing and the grounds are safe, accessible and offer dignified housing to individuals in need.
