Joshua's Heart Foundation is a youth-led nonprofit that has fought food insecurity across Miami-Dade County for over 20 years, distributing more than 9 million pounds of food to over 750,000 individuals while developing the next generation of community leaders. With the Lowe's Community Impact Grant, its North Miami Beach pantry will expand its cold storage capacity, allow us to accept and distribute more nutritious donations to the thousands of food-insecure families who rely on the organization’s pantry.

The John Crosland School is a K-12 school in Charlotte, NC that empowers neurodiverse students with learning differences to discover their strengths, build confidence, and succeed in school and in life. Funding from Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will support the installation of secure perimeter gates, accessible pathways, and strategic landscaping to enhance safety and navigation across our expanding campus.

The Jersey City Fire Foundation supports the Jersey City Fire Department in enhancing firefighter safety, wellness, and operational readiness while strengthening emergency response services for the community. With funding from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the Foundation will renovate and modernize its firehouse kitchen. These improvements will provide firefighters with a safe and functional living space, ultimately enhancing emergency response capabilities for a low-income neighborhood that relies heavily on timely and effective fire and EMS services.

HopeHouse OKC walks alongside mothers and their children to provide housing and support as they break the cycles of poverty and homelessness. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will complete much-needed renovations and updates to six homes where our graduate families live, improving safety, functionality, and overall quality. These improvements will provide families with dignified, stable housing they can be proud of, reinforcing their sense of worth and supporting long-term success.

The Home Again Los Angeles (HALA) mission is to assist families experiencing homelessness gain independence by transitioning into permanent housing and employment with the support of our community. The proposed renovation is designed to enhance the functionality, organization, and overall usability of both the food pantry and laundry room. Collectively, these enhancements will modernize the facilities, increase operational capacity, and create a more organized, functional, and welcoming environment.

Hollister Charter School’s mission is to promote a love for learning while preparing students to be academically successful, engaged in their communities, and connected to the land. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will construct a school-based greenhouse for year-round growing and learning. This project will provide students and the broader rural community with increased access to fresh produce, hands-on agricultural education, and a sustainable space that strengthens food security and fosters long-term community resilience.

Hillsborough Township Public Schools is a K-12 district in Somerset County New Jersey that operates nine schools for approximately 7,400 students annually. The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant will help renovate a high school classroom that will allow the school district to expand its course offerings to include a new Home Maintenance course. The work will inspire future homeowners and expose our students to a variety of hands-on careers.

The Hidden Valley Community Garden and Beautification Committees are dedicated to cultivating a healthy, connected neighborhood and shared green spaces for the community to enjoy. With support from the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the committees will renovate and expand its garden beds, beautify and install community areas for planting and congregating, while creating accessibility for seniors and disabled residents. These enhancements will increase community pride, food access, promote wellness and community engagement.

Hero’s and SHero’s Corner provides a safe, sober, trauma-informed drop-in center in Kentwood, Michigan, where veterans and their families across West Michigan can access peer support, mental health recovery resources, meals, workforce readiness, outreach programming, and community connection. With the Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, the organization will renovate its 7,500-square-foot facility.

Heal the Bay is a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to improving the health of coastal waters, watersheds, and marine life of Los Angeles through science, education, community action, and advocacy. With the support of the Lowe's Community Impact Grant, Heal the Bay Aquarium will undertake facility renovations that expands its capacity as a coastal education and community resource for the students, educators, and families it serves.
